It seems like years and years ago, my father passed on the “secret” of success in missions: “Son, if you are going to be a missionary, you need to have a good relationship with the Lord, because sometimes that’s the only thing you have.” He encouraged me to develop a strong prayer life.
We need your prayers as well. We believe that God works powerfully through prayer. As James said, “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”
So here are some of the things that we are praying for at the moment. We expect that we will update this from time to time. Please join us in bringing these petitions before God:
- That He will help us to see clearly His will in what we are doing. We need His guidance and encouragement as we prepare to move, and as we look for support.
- That He will give us wisdom in the choices we make.
- That He will help us find the resources we need in order to be effective in His work.
